Has anyone ever dropped there dinner?!
Answers: I made a big beautiful pan of lasanga for dinner and dropped it on the floor!!! My husband is out getting subway now.
On my husband's 30th birthday, I threw him a party. I lit all 30 candles on his big, beautiful chocolate cake, and had everyone turn off the lights. As I entered the dining room, all of us were singing "Happy Birthday". Just as I was almost to him, I tripped, and the cake went flying, right in his lap, and icing splattering on everyone. I was so embarrassed and he just laughed :)
yes
The only dinner iv eer dropped is in the bathroom.
OMG YES...
Then there was this one time..
I was making bisquets to go with breakfast, from scratch (which is a pain in the @$$) and just as I was getting ready to cut them out, I dropped the batter on the floor. At which time I picked it up, flung it across the kitchen (I was pi$$ed). It hit the wall on the other side of the table then sorta rolly-crawled it's way to the floor like one of those octopus toys for kids.
We had toast with breakfast that day.
EDIT: I like subway
I have, but I ate it anyway.
That's funny. no. But they do in the family stone the movie. :-)
oh, i'm so sorry.
that must suck big time.
yes i have.. but it was just a sandwhich.
well actually my brother pushed me, so it fell...
no no one ever drop dinner before you you alone sister
I've tossed my cookies, on occasion.
Sorry that happened. All that hard work!
Well, just remember that everything happens for a reason.
I'm sure your husband appreciated the thought you put into such a nice dinner.
Yes, I've done this too, by the way.
oh nooooooo!!
No 5 second rule in your house? lol
Yes I have dropped a big pan of stir fry once.
It sucked.
Oh my gosh....I did that very thing, unfortunately when I dropped the lasagna it was on the carpet
ya, it was quite embarasing, (hot soup)
Thats when it's handy to have a dog! And lasagne...my favorite...I just bought the ingredients tonight to make a pan, and I'll now be sure not to drop it. I almost dropped the turkey on thanksgiving, with a kitchenfull of people watching me...yikes!
oh yes its a bummer, just when i was looking forward to eating it and the dogs end up having it!
Drop a huge fully loaded pizza once, ended up eating cereal!
Yes! I cooked a lasagna and dumped it.... I was so mad there were 5 people at the table that saw it.... We went out to dinner since there was no saving it.
Yes it happens to everyone at least once or twice.
Run to the nearent pathmark. Pick up some frozen lasagne. Run home. Pop that bad boy in the oven, hide the box and tell ur hubby that dinner will be ready shortly. Or........ just pick up the lasagna, mop the floor and pretend it didn't happen!
Well I must say I have dropped a few things in my day. Obviously the lasagna dropped upside down or you wouldn't be out getting another meal. Isn't is peculiar, they always seem to go upside down. Well, you'll still be cleaning up the fridge, stove, cupboards & floor. Good luck.
The lasagna sounded good!
I would eat it if I was there! Unless the glass broke then I wouldn't want it too.
Yes
Yes,and it has made me so angry because all of that hard work went right down the drain! :-(
when i was first learning how to cook, i made this awesome meal. i cooked pork chops, rice, green beans, and potatoes aue gratin. i had been working on it for about 2 and 1/2 or 3 hrs, and i was planning on having it done for my mom when she got off of work. well she came home and i made her her plate and i was starving to death (cause i had been waiting to eat dinner together) i made mine and i went to grab a cup from the cabinet and i knocked my food all over the floor! i was so upset and hungry i started to cry. (yah i know im a loser this was like 6 years ago) so my mom shared her food with me!
no but once i left it unattended next to an open door and it was eaten by flys :( we ordered chinese takeout.
Sorry to hear that you dropped a beautiful pan of lasagna.
Now I'm craving lasagna. :-)
No, I haven't dropped a full meal.
I lost part of a meal by showing off how well I can flip food in a pan. I lost half of it onto the burner.
I almost dropped a full casserole by grabbing it without oven mitts. Burned my hand, but was able to put it down.
I've never dropped a whole pan of food or a whole dinner but I dropped my plate of food before, and after taking year of learning how to just cook for two, I didn't have extra. Ofcourse my husband offered to share his but I just ate ceral.
and One time, I was trying not to step on my cat and a bowl of pudding went flying and landed on the bed. Cats discovered they like pudding.
i dropped a big pot of stew. what a mess. still good though.
