yep, it was handed down to me to, not only jam though but syrup to sometimes, my family think im weird to though,

YORKSHIRE PUDDING FOR PUDDING FANS OF THE WORLD UNITE

no ive never tried that but maybe i will on sunday.........

sounds like a bit of a strange combination but i'l try anything once! lol :o)

yes i do, also another nice thing to do is put warm treacle on it. that's even more delicious.

Absolutely although my wife thinks I am mad. My grandad used to do it as well.

I haven't but my Dad's always going on about it! I hardly ever have yorkshire puds but next time I do I'll be sure to try it! :)

my dad loves blackcurrant jam in his yorkshire pudding, but only blackcurrant!! have never had it but sounds lush, would love it with strawberry or raspberry!!

good question!
x

Not me,I always considered Yorkshire puddings as being a savoury dish,

No, never done that, but it does sound rather yummy, I think I will give it a go on Sunday and give you my verdict.

No its something ive never tried but sounds nice.

no but i put it downstairs and while i am asleep my gfriend eats it

yes! and icecream! and they,re eaten as a starter in yorkshire with pickled onion, beetroot and gravy..before sunday roast. yummier!

I've never tried that. I always have my Yorkshire pudding with a roast of some sort.

But, now that you mention it, I may try the jam or maybe even a custard of some sort.

Thanks for the idea!

I like yorkshire pudding with raisins in it and golden syrup poured over

my gran used to put milk on mine never tried jam sounds nice though

We had them with Golden Syrup - not jam.
I was brought up in Yorkshire, so we had a lot of Yorkshire puddings as children.
They should traditionally be served as a starter with gravy, to temper the appetite before the roast beef.

Have done. It was lovely! I think it has an official name though.
And, why not? It is only plain batter, which you can make sweet or savoury by what you have with it - no difference to crepes or pancakes!

every time we have yorkshire pud I always make some extra to leave cold and eat with jam, strawberry usually.

Never tried it but heard it's delish!!!!

Yeah my nan used to do that too.Sometimes she would put sultanas in the mixture instead of jam.

I have never heard of that, but it sounds interesting. I may just try it out, I absolutely love yorkshire puddings.

no i dont put in jam .i tried it isnt nice

never tried
strange combination but sometimes the more it is strange the better the taste x]
someday i'll try it
