Why dosen't milk punch your thirst like water does?!

Question: I'm just curious.

Answers: I'm just curious.

because your body isnt made up of 90 percent milk. water is the best thrist quencher because your putting back into your body what has come out through sweat and urine.

water doesn't exactly PUNCH my thirst either !!!!

Milk is actually a liquid food. Often "drinks" that are concentrated (with sugar, salt or even other things) either don't slake your thirst (not enough water in them) or actually pull water from your system (sugary and salty drinks) leaving you thirsty again soon after.

The best thirst quencher is cold tea. but really the best for rehydrating is water with a pinch of rock salt in it, or you can rub the rim of a glass in rock salt then fill with water and drink it, when you don't like the taste of salt anymore then that means you now have enough sodium in your system, which will in turn be the optimum for absording and utilising water.

because it coats your tounge in fat which your body then says i need this off NOW!!!!!!!!!!
get me a drink.......

you need to get punched for such a dumb question

are u gonna exchange #'s with me sweetie??

I suppose the main reason is that milk is naturally high in sodium which can make on more thirsty.
On the other hand, sometimes a cold glass of milk is satisying.
To those who previously answered with a dopey response- no question is stupid, only answers that evade questions asked are stupid.
