Waffles or pancakes?!

I only like pancakes from IHOP and I dont' go there but maybe once a year.

i like them both equally i like my waffles with a little butter on them and then dip them in syrup. i like pan cakes with butter in between each and drowning in syrup.

pancakes...with syrup or strawberry jam or my mommys apple butter is good too on them. pancakes are amazing...waffles...okay, i guess, but roundy's brand waffels suck. the always end up hard when you put them in the toster:-(. pancakes are bettter:-)

I prefer Belgian waffles served with apple cinnamon topping and pecans with no syrup. I'm better at making pancakes though I put cinnamon and vanilla in the batter, and my favorite syrup is the butter pecan like you find at IHOP. (I don't have a huge thing for pecans, just with these two items.)

That is a tough one. I love them both. A diner near me use to serve an ultimate breakfast. Pancake, waffle, french toast, egg, hash browns, and ham. Syrup and butter on them.
I like both, but I think I like waffles a little better because the butter and syrup collects in the little squares. Mmmmm.....I usually just put butter and syrup, but sometimes powdered sugar is good too. :)

I eat them smothered in butter, sugar on top and then pour cream on top. We grew up eating it like that , me and 8 sibs!!!
I love fluffy buttermilk pancakes served with butter and maple syrup and sausage patties on the side. I prefer to drink milk with my pancakes too! ;-)

ON THE OTHER HAND,
Waffles, crisp, with lots of butter and fresh strawberries (that have been cut the night before and stored in tupperware, so they make their own syrup) thrown over the top of the waffles and then doused with a generous topping of whipped cream........Now, it that breakfast or dessert???? Now I'm hungry!!!!
