Marshmallows for hot cocoa?!
Answers: Does anyone know where I can find a package of just the little marshmallows that are in hot cocoa packages? I have seen them in big cans like non-dairy creamer, but only once and I was unable to ask where they were from. Thank you!
They're called micro marshmallows. Never seen them in a store but here's a place that has them online.

Homemade Marshmallows:

2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted, plus more for dusting pan and marshmallows
Butter, for greasing pan
Pour gelatin in cold water for 10 minutes, add sugar on medium heat to disslove. the egg whites would be beaten by mechenical beater you can upside down and see the beaters have the egg whites slappy, pour the cnfectioners sugar or any white sugar in the egg whites and rebeat on high till you up upside down beater and see it stiff. Put the egg whites in a baking pan with butter greasing the pan and let it set for 3 hrs.
They're at any grocery store next to the larger marshmallows. But, if you honestly can't find them, marshmallow fluff works great as well. Just put a dollop of it in.
walmart, big lots, dollar stores, any grocery store or an ice cream store.
There are brand names of hot cocoa that includes the packets of mini marshmellows such as Swiss Miss. Grocery stores sometimes have their own brand of hot cocoa that will include the marshmellows most of the time. These can be found at almost any grocery store.
In the candy aisle of a grocery store...they sell bags of miniature marshmallows.
Make your own. Try these. They are great in hot cocoa!
Peppermint Marshmallows
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
2 (1/4 ounce) envelopes unflavored gelatin
1 1/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
1/8 teaspoon salt
Into a small bowl, sift together the confectioners sugar and the cornstarch; line a 13X9 inch baking pan with non stick foil and spray foil with non stick cooking spray; sift 2 tablespoons of the sugar/cornstarch mixture into the pan, tilting to coat the pan; set the rest of the mixture aside for later.
Place 2/3 cup water in a large bowl; sprinkle with gelatin; let soften for five minutes.
In a medium heavy bottomed saucepan, heat sugar, corn syrup, candy pieces and salt over medium heat until sugar and candy pieces are dissolved, stirring occasionally; slowly mix into bowl with gelatin.
Beat gelatin/sugar mixture on high speed with electric beater until light and fluffy, about 15 minutes; spread into prepared pan and smooth top; dust with 2 tablespoons of the reserved sugar/cornstarch mixture and let set at room temperature for 2 hours.
Lift marshmallow block from pan using foil; with a wet knife, cut into six squares.
Spread remaining sugar/cornstarch mixture onto a baking sheet; invert marshmallow blocks onto baking sheet and cut each square into 9 smaller squares.
Toss marshmallows in sugar/cornstarch mixture ans set on a pan to set for an additional hour; store loosely covered at room temperature.
You can buy (KRAFT FOODS) a pkg of marshmallows just a little larger in grocery stores. I just did.
