Question: Then why is Yogurt supposed to be Healthy!

Answers: Then why is Yogurt supposed to be Healthy!

First of all there are 7grams of sugar in a table spoon. Second does the yogurt tell you what kind of sugar you are eating? Sucrose, Glactose, lactose, maltose, etc.

Chances are they are counting Lactose (the same sugar that is in milk) and not sucrose (the stuff you put in candy). So I dont think it's as unhealthy as you believe.

yes
it is healthy compared to a brownie for example.

Yes. You have healthy yogurt and you have American yogurt.

Calcium is what makes yogurt healthy. There is highly processed yogurt that has alot of sugar, with is only under the guise of being healthy. I am sure your natual, unflavored yogurt doesn't contain a quarter of that amount of sugar.

Are you referring to added table sugar, sucrose? No, since fruit adds to the sugar count.

If you're just mean any/all types of sugar, then yes, if the 1 tsp = 4 grams is correct.
