Does anyone really like Tapioca pudding? You know the one that looks like frog-spawn.?!

Question: When I was at school this was a regular thing given to us and I don't remember one of my friends ever eating it!

I remember frog-spawn!
Used to make me 'heave'!

made properly tapioca is nice... so is macaroni and rice puddings...

sadly the stuff which comes out of tins is a travesty, and NOT deserving of the name.

Yep, good stuff, but then again, I like fruit cake too.

yes its fantastic yum!!!!!!!!

Yes, I like it... especially the way my grandmother use to make it. She made it from scratch and added chunks of drained pineapple an maraschino cherries. She served it warm right after she made it, then cold the next day.

The stuff is disgusting... They give it to you like, "Here is dessert... enjoy", but they know that you won't eat it. During lunch the administrators all retreat to the teachers lounge, do jello shots, and laugh about serving frog spawn to the kids.

Sad...

sorry! its absolutely disgusting......

Your question made me giggle..."frog spawn....Heee heee". I bought it one day to see if my kids liked it and they kind of looked at me like "Yeah, ok" and then one day they had a friend come over for a visit and he LOVED it....I guess it requires a certain kind of pallete!!!

YUK, it looks discusting, I dont think I have or ever will even try it.

Couldn't eat it when I was a little kid, thought it was snot. Have done a few times in the last fifty years though and sago (smaller snot!) as well.

Both ok

I love it, and so do many of my family & friends.

I love tapioca. Make it from scratch all the time and it's good for you.

I love the stuff.And semolina,And rice pudding.

no

I can't stand the stuff

When I visited California I ate at a place called Fresh Choice which is a great eatery where you pay as you go in and then help yourself to as much and as often as you like. It is buffet style, hot and cold and they had the best tapioca pudding ever. It was cold and creamy and vanilla flavoured. I couldn't wait to go back there for more. I wish they would open a Fresh Choice cafe in England.
