Question: ....and other than parsley, what do mediteranian cultures use, or do they just not mind stinking of garlic!

I've lived in the mediteranian area for a few years and it's not the garlic smell you wish to avoid.

fresh mint~herb
(not the sweet)

mouthwash

brush ur teeth DUH

suck on a lemon

Most restaurants will provide a mint candy after your meal.

floss, brush and rinse with Listerine.

Hi
You could always suck on your sock (and thats not a spelling mistake either)
Ray. West York's.U.K.

Hi,
Drink a cup of espresso ( you can also chew one coffee bean or two :-()
or
Chew a whole clove (the spice) slowly... you will have your baby breath back!
They both work!
Good luck!

I have tried everything and there is NOTHING out there to get rid of the smell.

I stopped worrying and enjoy garlic twice as much now.

Try some in a pint of Guinness !!!

If you rub your fingers on something stainless steel it gets rid of the smell on your hands after handling garlic. Strange but true.
