Catsup vs ketchup is there a difference and if so what?!

Question: Ketchup is the good stuff like Heinz Ketchup for instance. Catsup is the cheaper quality kind of ketchup that is more watery and not as good such as store brands of ketchup such as Kroger,Meijer,Wal-Mart brand,etc... Ketchup is nice and thick and it has the right amount of good tasting ingredients in it where Catsup just tastes bland and it is really watery!

Its ketchup!!

They are alternate spellings of the same word for the same thing.

you're reading the french side of the label

theyre both the same thing

ketchup is the real deal

more watery? get real. theyre the same thing. it's just that one day some guy mispelled the word ketchup with the word "catsup" and decided to start his own brand after that happened. true story.

kethcups the way to go

there is no difference in the substance. it's just the spelling. some countries say catsup, and others ketchup..it's like the whole tomato tomato thing.

Just the spelling.:)

Merry Christmas!

To my knowledge it is simply the spelling!!!

They are just two variations of spelling of the same word - they are the exact same thing.
