45 grams of instant oatmeal is 1/2 cup.

try and look at it like this....if it helps....there are 28 grams in an ounce. How do I know this? UH, I just do.

1.59 oz ...so less then 1/4 of a cup... I would just use one handful.

45 grams is a lil less than 2 oz. (28 grams to the oz)id say bout 1 3/4 oz--or a bit less than 1/4th cup
