Best Choice in Canadian CHocolate for a gift?!

Question: I want to order a chocolate assortment for a friend who is Canadian. I am from the States and not familiar with what would be considered the best chocolate there. I don't want to send them some generic tasting chocolates. I have only come across a few names through googling but hoped someone here could help me. I came across these names...Bernard Callebaut / Rogers / Ganong.

Do we have any Canadian Chocolate experts here who could help me out?

Thanks in advance

callebaut is a belgian chocolatier and very excellant. the best of the three. the next choice would be rogers and the ganong.
Good luck

I am a former chef and am familiar with all of them I have used Callebaut in my places of business and there chocolate are just as good, I had Rogers in B.C, and Ganong is a Xmas fav with my family, I am a diabetic so I only eat dark semi-sweet chocolate, like Lindt or Suchor.

For boxed varietys, the best are those either handmade or made with a finer 70-80% cocoa mass in the chocolate, Black Magic, Russell Stover, Turtles and Laura Secord are pretty mainstream, I know there are Callebaut outlets all over the country, even here in Ontario, if you do not purchase the actual product and gift card or certificate for them to choose there own selection.

We alaway had some as a child, my family was into the white and dark chocolate Almond bark.
