Pringles-How Do They Make Them So Perfect?!

Question: I was devouring a tube of Pringles last night and was wondering

How do they make them so perfectly circular?

I ask this because in a normal pack of crisps they are odd shaped-no perfect sizes or shapes. They are random.

So why are Pringles so perfectly made

(I would have thought that there is a hell of a lot of waste)

They powder the potato and then form it, like mince meat is made into hamburger patties.

Highly skilled little pringle elves mold and sculpt them to perfection like a blacksmith forges a shield over his anvil.

They are a mashed up batter and then they go onto a hot mold. They are formed that way.....

The potatoes are mashed and formed to get that perfect shape.

They aren't sliced normally like other potato chips. They're probably mashed up and put into molds. I guess thats why they taste so artificial. :/
