When you eat crabs...?!


Question: do you eat the everything except for the gills and shell of course? LIke, I actually eat everything from the top shell (head) and then the bottom portion. What is that orange stuff? Not the mustard looking thing.

Orange stuff is only in females (its eggs) and tastes good in my opinion. The mustardy stuff is safe to eat just don't eat the lungs, they look like crescent shaped white things and are spongy. Remove the lungs and break the shell under them, there is a ton of meat there. Its a lot of work but it's well worth it.

lmfao i eat the just the white part.......but that orange colored stuff...idk what it is. looks pretty gross lol

I just eat the legs. The body is too much work. I rarely ever fix them myself- so I just order legs. I think the orange stuff is fat.
