Answers: I like it in pancakes and other recipes but not to drink.

NO! I don't now why the call it butter milk it don't taste like butter. I do like it in pancakes

I have never liked buttermilk. My parents did though. I have heard it is good in cooking but have never used it there either.

No

I love to drink it, I add a little salt. I cook with it as well.

When I was a teenager and in my 20's everybody drank it. Times change and now it's yoplait & yoghurt. Not very different.
Of course, now there is a fondness for goat's milk and soy milk.

i have tried it once. i guess its okay. I think it is exelent when baking. My dad loves to drink it straight up though.

It's a good drink with a hot bowl of Chili.

I learned to drink it so that I could surprise my dad (he loved butter milk). I got the surprise as his stomach was no longer up to it. The taste is ok, but I would much rather have it in something like corn bread..

I love a icy cold glass of buttermilk with a slice of rich dark chocolate cake (dark fudge-type icing) Mmmmmmmmm.
Other than that I use buttermilk when making scratch pancakes, biscuits, waffles, and my famous Irish Soda bread, which is legendary among my family lol.....

yearkkkk.....I hate that.

yuck! there is no way I could ever drink it!!! I'm 100% with you on this one!

i don't but my mom does ewwww gross!!

Yes. Some times I break cornbread up in small pieces in a glass and pour buttermilk over it, Yum. My mom used to make a buttermilk chest pie it was soooo good really sweet. It's also good to pour over chicken before you fry it, it will tenderize the meat.
