Which is healthier/less unhealthy?!

Question: Shop-bought oven chips (e.g. McCain's) or slices of potato cooked in the oven in groundnut oil?

I would have assumed the latter, but I don't know enough to decide.

I wouldnt matter. The thicker the chip, the healthier. All chips are unhealthy.

Both would be unhealthy but I would assume that the slice of potato... is worse.

The latter is better. The frozen chips have additives and flavors added -- it tricks your mind into thinking they taste good, but you're just tasting the phony flavors they put in them.

the last answer-er is right, they use a lot of additives in their product. depends how much oil you use, how much you eat, etc. but the main thing is that it's potato, not whatever potato flake or modified whatever mcCain uses. a heaping pile of sliced potatoes in oil is worse than one mccain's. so...

everything in moderation :)
