The elusive banana comes out to feed during the night and can be seen with the naked eye. During the summer, if you're silent and lucky, you can hear the mating call of the males gently serenading the female bananas. I find the most effective way to capture these tropical creatures is to lay a few scoops of ice cream on a dish, topped with whipped cream, chopped nuts, and cherries. Good luck with your search!

Lychee?

I think it must be some sort of plantain...

YOUR NOT A MONKEY THEN

You guys still having trouble getting bananas? So funny. Where I live they grow on trees.

go to kroger or aldi and ask for bananas and you can get them.

What a stupid question, there are a lot of americans on this site, and they are dumb enough to now believe that we don't have bananas in England!!!!!!!
To all yanks out there - he's joking

are you serious theres no bananas were you live. i live in new york city and i see bananas everyday. and you dont watch tv like this is crazy. bananas cost like $2 for like 8 and there nt elusive they grow all over the world but thats cool that your baffled by something as trivial as a banana. thats why the us rocks and the uk eats socks and not bananas.

No we do not have problems getting bananas in the UK and I'm so sorry it's escaped all of you to notice this guy is clearly trying to be funny.

if you find some, let me know! or even better, lets run away to the bahamas together and eat the sweet, sweet goodness!

Plantain (Baking bananas) They are 30 to 40 cm. large and are green, yellow or red-like. They cannot be eaten raw. They fulfill the role of the potato in the tropical countries. You can buy them in ethnic supermarkets.

but not just any banana
this one has
2pts on his skin

u wasted 5 to ask it

Your having a laugh.!!!

Although the Bahamians call them Bananas, it's not their proper name, bit like the Americans calling a wallet a 'pocket book'. The correct name for the fruit is Sananabs and they are readily available from the Cayman or Windward Islands.
I am informed that the local agent for both sources is a chap locally known as Captain Bligh.

no

here they are called bananananananananananaaaaaaaaaaas. you can get them in Morrisons on Tuesdays.
