Is pickle salt bad for you?!


Question: Well,I do not know if any of you have ever heard or Lucas it is a salt you eat and sometimes it has pickle flavor in it.You are supposed to eat it with something or eat it alone. Me and my friends LOVE to eat it alone and some people say it kills brain cells or it will make you dizzy .I do not know the answer HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think it will kill you or anything but yes eating salt is bad for you, especially if it is just salt. I know exactly what you are talking about because I love it too. If anything it is really bad for your teeth. It eats the enamel off your teeth which makes them sensitive to cavities.

its not bad because its pickle-y but salt can give you high blood pressure and it can make you bloated. but it won't be harmful otherwise.

i love it sounds good to be true, salt kills the sweet, but grind your teeth.

Having searched Yahoo, Google, Food Encyclopedia, Food Thesaurus, Morton, Diamond Crystal , and more. I've researched Pickle Salt, Pickling Salt ,Lucas, and have gone to pickle making sites and companies. Findings;"pickle salt" is just poor grammar, "Lucas" has nothing to do with salt or pickles. "Pickling Salt" is never pickle flavored (as bought). Conclusion:Unless pertinent information is inadvertently or, purposefully being withheld this posting is TOTAL B.S.
