How do you cut sandwiches without squishing it?!


Question: I use a serrated edge knife and use with a sawing motion. Hold the sandwich with one hand and saw with the other. No squish.

  • You rest the tip of the knife onto the crust part, make a little indent and cut pressing the tip down first.

    My sister cuts with a BUTTER knife and puts the knife blade flat down onto the bread as she cuts...then moans why her sandwich is flat.

    Stupid.

    Anyway, use a sharp knife!

    It would depend on what your sandwich has on it if it is egg salad , tuna salad, or ham salad or any other items that have a tendency to slide out when you cut it the best way is to cut the bread in half and place the item on each side and then just cover with the other two halves.
