Interesting question. When I was a kid, was raised on whole milk and loved it. In my teens went ot 2% and adjusted to it and learned to love it. In my 30's went to 1% and its fine by me. The bottom line is that you learn to adapt and the older you get, the more health conscious you become. Now, whole fat milk is way to rich for me to drink . But, if I'm cooking a special meal and making a great rich sauce, you bet I'll use whole fat milk or half and half or whipping cream. No other way to go. However, one thing I can't abide in any way ,shape or form is skim milk. Don't ever think I'll get to that point.

It tastes less watery.. I like it ice cold..

It's what, 3.25%?
Tastes muchhh better. I don't care that it has more fat in it.. People drink cream, right? And whipped cream..etc. It's all the same thing, ;]

it tastes better, but has more fat. when cooking use low-fat, when baking use whole. makes a difference in the flavor of sweet stuff, like real butter vs. margarine, butter is better.

I like it better than other kinds of milk even though whole milk has alot more calories and fat,it sure is good! ;-)

Whole Milk.
"Milk without the fat is like non-alcoholic Scotch"

( I forget who said that- I think the guy at the end of 60 Minutes)
