Starbucks sizes!?!
Answers: Why do they HAVE to correct if you say large not Venti, or medium not Grande ... I can understand small becuase there are two smalls. But STILL.
They have to repeat your drink order and call it out to the barista in "Starbucks language". They are not (or atleast should not) belittle you or make you feel bad for not using their language. This is just Starbucks policy. There is a developed and practiced way of naming and reciting drink orders and the Starbucks partners have to follow it.

So annoying. Maybe not every Starbucks corrects people, try a different one maybe?
Because Starbucks is trying to take over the world! At least what's left after Wal-Mart is done with it.

they are conditioning you to only associate Starbucks with coffee, so that even if you go somewhere else you will ask for their sizes or their style of drinks.
