In a hotel in Tenby I once bit into a brussel sprout and noticed half a maggot sticking out from the bit that I hadn't swallowed.
When I complained at least the restaurant manager had the grace not to charge extra.

Snails - Yuk!!!! - but 'My'Baby is wrong, cooked properly Ostrich is delicious - my local butchers sell it and I eat it regularly, in fact did so only this last Thursday evening.
Chalk. When I was 5 my grandmother gave me a raw carrot to chew whillst I was writing on a chalkboard. I fed the wrong item to my mouth.

slugs,worms,earwigs,chewing gum off the pavement,cement,tar,pebbles bricks,newspaper,plasterboard,dragon-fli... bands,used condoms,tampaxes,bird seed,paint,vynal records,spiders,woodlice,wallpaper,toile... paper,wood,coal,cinders,ash,cigs,feather... out of an old matress,fish eyes,a bit of a dogs ear,and then some fool told me chewing gum was made from rats tails so i cut one off and tried it,maggots,centepeedes,dogcrap,to name but a few,there was always somthing new to try when i was growing up.

something I refer to as fish maggots (teeny tiny white fish that you can just see the eyes)
chicken feet (readily sold at the 7-11)
really - choose a part of the animal, they eat it or ingest it somehow.
Used chewing gum that was stuck to the underside of a table in a restaurant when I was little and jerky made out of cow heart (didn't know it at the time I was eating it).
Deep fried pickles, not as weird or strange as other people's postings, but for me it is the strangest thing I have tried. They rock though. Yum, eat in moderation!
it was late night i was high on opium and i was really hungry and we didn't have anything at the house so i got a fork and a knife i cut off my balls put them on my fork cocked them and ate them man it was the best thing i had ever tasted but when my high was gone , i was disappointed .
