Why do people go "num num" when they eat?!

They can't pronounce "yum yum " with their mouths full!

maybe they enjoy the food

My eldest daughter does that

Has done all her life.
Especially if its something she really likes
(she's 18 now!)

I think it's so they can let people know that it tastes good. Good question though lol =]

In France they go 'miam miam' - a sign of enjoyment apparently, but personally I could do without it!

Goes back to our Primevil instincts, when we had to fight for our food and as we ate it we growled and means this food is nummy (yummy)
Try to say yummmm yummm with food in your mouth. Lol!!
