Your best bet is to visit your family doctor or make an appt with a nutritionist.

You can try the following sites in the meantime:

http://www.everydaychoices.org/eat.html
http://whfoods.org/foodstoc.php
http://www.crumcreek.com/library/antioxi...

Other general things to keep in mind:
-choose whole grains instead of white flour products
-drink lots of water
-eat foods high in anti-oxidants (see the last link above)
-choose olive oil based pasta when eating out
-avoid fast food (burgers, pizza, taco bell, etc)
-avoid potato chips, nachos, bagels, excess cheese
-increase your veggies (add mushrooms, peppers, brocolli to your carrots with dip)
-eat multi vitamins (calcium, Vit C, Vit E, Iron, etc)

The yogurt is good but the carrots with ranch dip is not. The carrots are great but the ranch is basically pure fat.

However, regardless of what you might read in the latest fad diet books the best way to be healthy is to simply eat a wide variety of foods but keep the portions small. That way you get all the nutrition your body needs (vitamins, proteins, minerals, etc.) and you don't eat excess calories.

bake or roast chicken breast, before eating take skin off... bake all meats no frying. cottage cheese and yogurts are good, eat a variety of veggies, the more green they are the better for you. eat brown rice or wheat pasta,. drink lots of water, tea, juices, fresh fruit. dry beans, eggs are good for you.
