Any way to dye a poached egg green through and through?!

Easy. Boil it as normal, then when it is finished, take a needle and poke a hole at either end. Just a small poke to get through the shell will work. Then dye it as though an Easter egg. Use vinegar (half a cup vinegar with half a cup of water mixed together) and several drops of green food colouring. Let it set in there for a few minutes. With the tiny holes at either end, the colour will go through and through, and it will be compltely edible. We do this at Easter occassionally. It makes beautiful deviled eggs!
