Can you get meat pies in the USA? And can you get pork pies, steak & kidney, mince pies etc?!

Question: Yeah they call them pot pies. Nowhere near as good as a tasy Marks & Sparks or Sainsbury's pie though.

Pork pies - now I'm really drooling. I left the UK in 1983 and every time I travel back there from home (Singapore) I bring some back with me. Pork pies don't seem to travel outside the UK. Difficult to get when I was working in Ireland, the only place that I could get them was M&S in Cork.

Savour the flavour, and prepare to go without!

Mince pie is made with chopped apples and raisins most of the time nowdays.
Meat pies have lots of vegetables in them besides the meat which is usually beef or chicken. They are called pot pies.

Maybe in a large city with a large British population but those dishes don't appeal to the AmeriKan tastes... too bad... I developed a taste for Steak and Kidney pie when I lived in the U.K. and really like it. (acquired taste)
