What is the best way to reheat meat so it doesn't have that strange flavor?!

Question: I find most reheated meat to be fine as long as it is reheated SLOWLY. I just nuked some leftover lamb and it was outstanding!!! The key is medium-low heat so that it retains some moisture and doesn't get shocked by the quick reheating

I'm not sure about the strange flavor but what I do is either put a teeny bit of water in a covered container and zap in microwave until just heated. Or....if it's a roast I like to very loosely wrap in foil, add a bit of water and heat in the oven. I've never had a strange flavor.....or I suppose, being a lover of onions, saute some and put them over the meat before putting in the oven and it will give it added flavor.

oven-heat.
