How many days does it take for Carrot Cake to spoil and do you have to keep it refrigerated?!?!

Question: Most traditional carrot cakes do not need to be refrigerated and will typically last for a week. However, if a large part of the cake or its frosting is dairy (like a whipped cream cheese topping or filling) you may want to refrigerate as a precaution. As far as spoiling, keep an eye out for mold (blue, green or black hairy-looking spots) and don't keep it around for longer than 7 days.

Usually three days, and yes if you have butter cream icing it will need to be refrigerated.

It should be refrigerated because of the cream cheese frosting. It will keep in the fridge a very long time if well covered. You will notice that bakerys always have them in the cooler.

I really don't know..... but my late Earthly Father always had this answer to every question......." The answer is a lemon.....suck it and see!"
