What could cause otherwise good honey to taste awful?!

Question: Is it possible for honey to go bad and make a person sick?

some unfiltered or old honey can ferment. not particularly 'bad' for you, but not very tasty, either.

Honey never goes bad. It can separate after a little while which takes a little heating up to fix, but it shouldn't make you sick unless there was something else wrong with it. It might not have been the honey if you are feeling sick. Sometimes honey just tastes bad.

when the honey is left and becomes hard it makes me feel sick but i don't know if that is what you meant
when it solidifies the taste changes

Sometimes it is not the food you are eating, but what you ate prior to eating that food. If you eat honey, a sweet tasting liquid after you ate something sour, it will make the honey taste weird because the sour taste is still on your tastebuds.

I dont think so. it just crystalises, and goes all hard, because of the sugar in it, however i dont think it goes off. Honey generally taste vile in my opinion though lol.

honey never goes bad. thats not your problem.
