How do thy get the chocolate on maltesers?!
Alot of candys, sweets, gums and other product, like jawbreakers and even jelly beans are done this way.
Answers: It is applied in a process known as "panning", were they are rotated in a large drum like device and the chocolate is either dumped or sprayed on the inner shells, like how the get the candy coating on M&M's there are 2 layer there, then a layer or wax or oil is applied for shine.
