How do thy get the chocolate on maltesers?!


Question: It is applied in a process known as "panning", were they are rotated in a large drum like device and the chocolate is either dumped or sprayed on the inner shells, like how the get the candy coating on M&M's there are 2 layer there, then a layer or wax or oil is applied for shine.

Alot of candys, sweets, gums and other product, like jawbreakers and even jelly beans are done this way.

they throw the tiny cookie sphere into a bowl full of choc and then they extract the choc from the bowl, and let it dry with the choc around it;-P

( is my idea ) lol,lol;-))

They use a machine in the factory.
