Ketchup and Catsup.What's the difference?!


Question: Ketchup (or less commonly catsup or tomato jam) also known as Tomato Ketchup, Tomato Sauce (or "dead horse" in Australian rhyming slang[1]), or in other less common slang terms Red Sauce, Blatzen Sauce, Tommy Sauce, Tommy K, or Pittsburgh Sauce (when made by Heinz).

Same thing. Different spellings.

Spelling. Both are technically correct, although currently ketchup is more popular. It's the same stuff either way.

I don't think there is any except for the spelling

i thought they were both the same-just with different spellings. but i wondered that too.

Ketchup.- Used more commonly in the United States of America

Catsup.- Used pretty much in the rest of the world.
