How much do you spend on groceries per week? Also do you have any cheap but good meal ideas?!

Question: i'd be curious to know:

-where you live
-how much you spend p/w
-what meals you commonly eat.

thanks heaps!

I use a lot of dried beans for pasta dishes, salads, humus, etc
I roast chickens and make soup from the left overs.
I make a lot of soups, chile, stews, sauces, etc. I make all my own breads and desserts.

We send our kids to school with lunch, we eat breakfast at home (hot or cold cereal or breakfast bars or eggs).
We cook dinner 5 times/week

I never buy prepared foods

We cook stews, braises, grilled meats/veggies, pastas....etc
