starches, sugars

As I discovered after being diagnosed as type II diabetes, nearly ALL food is high carb.

Better advice is LOW carb...cucumbers, green beans, pickles, onions, celery, and most meat. However....meat is HIGH in calories....

If you WANT to eat high carb foods, eat white colored food--pasta, rice, bread, ice cream, etc.

pasta, rice, cereal, potatoes, applesauce, bananas, bread, and mostly anything that is high in starch or sugar.

Anything high in white sugar & white flour, or starch.

i hope u arent trying a low carb diet...

low carb diets dont work...going low carb or low fat is a myth...its the overall calories u consume! so count the calories! carb, sugar, and fat junkies are full of crap...u need to watch overall calories

some high carbe healthy foods are
-potatoes
-whole wheat breads/pasta/brown rice
-oatmeal
-whole grain cereals
-fruits/vegies

It depends what type of carbohydrates you are looking for.

Complex Carbohydrates/Healthy Carbohydrates:
Fruits, whole grain pastas, whole grain bread, whole grain tortillas, corn tortilla chips, grits, polenta, oatmeal, 'healthy' cereals, barley, couscous, etc.

Simple Carbohydrates/Limit your Intake:
White bread, white pasta, sugary "kid's" cereals, ice cream, candy, white sugar, chocolate, etc.
