Can you freeze half and half?!

Question: If you can, will it taste good once its thawed?

Answers: If you can, will it taste good once its thawed?

You can, but it will separate when you defrost it and even if you mix it up well, when you use it in your coffee you will see little fat globules on the surface. Won't do you any harm.
It's OK for cooking. Tastes just fine.
I freeze 3% milk all the time without a problem but the fat content is not that high.

Thank you, it works for me. Report It

  • you can freeze milk, so I don't see why you couldn't freeze half and half also.

it takes a long time to defrost, and has to be done in the fridge. you also need to shake it, as the emulsion separates.

you can freeze it but it may not taste the same afterwards.

    no
