Do you call always french fried potatoes freedom potatoes?!

Question: I just call them Fries. I still call French Toast... well, French Toast. It is of no reflection of my personal feeling of the French (that I will keep personal)

no but that sound cool too

Never did, never would.

Not only is it not "always".. it's never. I don't give it much thought, but if I were to call them anything, I'd call them fries.. period. But I don't eat them, so I'm not prone to calling them at all, or calling them anything. The very last thing I want is to put political labels on my foods!!!

You mean do I ever? No, french fries are french cut. It is a culinary term similar to julienne. It has nothing to do with country of origin, which by the way, is Belgium.

No

no i think that's completely ridiculous

Only french fries for me.

blazerang stole the words right out of my mouth.

authentic fries are GOOD

I bought them at a stand with a horseradish dipping sauce when I went up north on vacay once. Yum!
