In the near future...?!
Answers: do you think that we'll even have to eat? I mean we could just take vitamin pills and drink water and not need to consume anything in order to survive with all the latest technology we have and how far our medial knowledge is going....who knows?
It would be nearly impossible to give our bodies the complex carbohydrates and proteins we need in order to live in a pill. We'd either live on a pile of pills per day, or we'll have food.
Besides, even if we're able to give our bodies everything they need through pills, how many people do you know that would exchange a nice juicy steak or green salad for a dry little pill? Taste pays a large part in why people need to eat.
Good question though!
nope. we'll take vitamins. :D
yeh some pill will feed us three times a day for a whole week
maybe who knows
id still eat
True, but I like food. It's yummy and all those pills will probably end up causing cancer later on or something.
food is enjoyable. i highly doubt pills will be, so why?
that would be cool
Umm i am not sure maybe
I doubt it people like McDonalds and Burger king too much to let it go.
that is right, who knows. hmmm I bet billy idol knows. If we only knew his number.... we could ask.....
Soylent Green
In the NEAR future?? Yeah, we will! Of course!!!
once we hit a cashless society its over try watching demolition man its gonna happen thank god ill be gone before it goes down
nahh...that means no restaraunts and that means no business..though i guess they'll maybe have like healthy fast food..we still have taste buds and need to use em =]
Those V-Chips that are going to be implanted in our arms will monitor what we eat. They may even control what we eat.. like if we eat anything to gives us pleasure, the thing will zap us until we love broccoli. Ever read 1984 by George Orwell?
Technology won't cure our need for the satisfaction and flavor of eating a big juicy well cooked stake
we will just take those as a side thing to keep us in top physical condition and healthy
I agree and think that some day, that will be the future, but I also think that eating foot will always be there, no matter what other substitues they will come up with.
Excuse my examples: But it's kind of like sex... No matter how often they artificially inceminate, there will always be sex. lol
But otherwise... They already have those kind of pills. Personally, I like the whole eating and tasting thing... It's a fun hobby. :)
Good luck and hope this helps!
I highly doubt it....not anytime within the next 10 years, that's a whole lot of nutrion and various chemicals you need to shove in pills...if you think about all the various chemicals your body needs to survive and run properly...it's just ridiculous to thinkn of not ever eating food, plus who would not want to eat their favorite foods and taste that delicious freshness :)
You're still consuming vitamin pills and drinking water...right??? The answer to your question is in the question. I'm soo smart.
2 point please
yeah. we'll most probably be taking vitamins in the near future. ^_^...but i dont think the culinary arts wont be gone entirely.
I think NASA has been working on something like that.
Here have a handfull, this one is roastbeef gravy, this one is potatoes, this one is carrots, and this one is apple pie.
It will not happen because your body can't work properly. The tissue inside of our body need a fuel the supplements is not enough the food is the best no matter what our latest technology. How could we combat the immunity to our body from diffirent kind of the deciseas if will not eat.You can see our ancestors I mean the people before us their comflexion, hair and ect. are so rough due to lack of good food.
highly dutiable because every body loves food and nobody wants to stop eating it.
i don't because I'm eating a bag of chips right know
Eating is as much a social need as a nutritional one.
There are people that because of medical issues cannot take oral nutrition and receive complete liquid nutrition through a tube (called a PEG or PEJ) directly into their stomach, either constantly or intermittently 24/7.
Most of these people still enjoy sitting with others and socialising over meals which is important part of feeling like belonging.
Personally, I think food is here to stay.
