What are common edible foods in winter found in canadian wilderness?!


Question: Well not only am I a Canadian and having work in the northern parts of Canada, in the winter month there are not alot of things growing around, some wild berries but the wildlife eat those, and unless you into tree bark or digging up frozen roots, the best place for food is a grocery store. even in Iquit they have grocery stores, while the Inuit hunt for seals, bears, they fish and rabiits even caribou, they have to buy there ketchup at the store.
