Answers: Running hot coffee through the coffee pot more than once???

If it is an automatic drip, yes. The only thing going through the coils should be clean water. If it's a percolator, doesn't matter, but you are going to have some coffee that will put hair on your chest!!!!!:) Need someone with a razor???

coffee pot is for coffee, why the worry.

it can break your coffee pot. Thus the reason you are sapost to put in cold water.

awww, you are bringing me coffee...thanks hon.

If it tastes OK to you then it is fine.

I can't see why this would harm the machine, but it serves no purpose. What's the reason you want to do this? If you are trying to make the coffee stronger, use more coffee.

Coffee contains oils. That's why coffee cups turn dark if they're not washed, and there's a residue in the basket where you place coffee grounds if it's not washed. Those oils would be going through the mechanism that's only for water and could eventually gum it up and cause your coffeemaker to quit working.

Running brewed coffee thru your machine will eventually gum up the works. Not to mention, I can't imagine that it'll taste all that good.
