i like the ideal, of a tv fast food deal, just like those kits u buy from ceasers and pizza hut where u make the pizzas at home, cause you think about places like mickey dees they freeze their foods before u eat them so what would be the diff, open the box and nuke it like they do and maybe deep fry the cherry pie and fries your self that way u always get the hot and not have to worry with what employee put their hands on your food without washing their hands first, something like this would get me to buy mickey products again, seen too many nasty things at our local mickey dees that would turn you green to watch so yes would be a good ideal for them to market something like this

It would definitely contribute to the child obesity problem. You may as well just feed them a big spoon full of crisco.

That sounds disgusting, yet sadly i'm sure there would be a large percentage of the population that would buy into that stuff. It's easier than making a late night run, and you can make it on your own oven at home.

But really, what are we feeding our citezins? Do we really want to make it even easier for them to clog their arteries? Not to mention the cost of packaging and its impact on the enviornment

I'd say it would do well.:)

They already exist. California Pizza Kitchen, and White Castle already make frozen home versions of their food. I'm sure there are others. And McDonald's has probably already thought about it - and is either going to sell it - or has reason not to.

I say its STUPID. I say, why dont you just go to mc donalds and get the fat hot and just-microwaved rather than go through the process of cooking (bread), freezing (separate ingredients: meat, bread, etc) cooking, freezing, microwaving (and for leftovers, freezing and microwaving again)...perfect!!

I know that I will get flamed for saying this, but why wouldn't someone want to offer more healthier options for people to choose from? How about skinless boneless chicken breasts with brown rice,a salad and maybe some fruit on the side? I am not trying to be mean or catty, but has anyone noticed the obesity epidemic in the USA? Do you know that when I was growing up,we NEVER heard of kids who were obese or morbidly obese!

I am not trying to sound cold hearted, but until the obesity epidemic in the USA is taken VERY SERIOUSLY,then restaurants such as McDonalds,Burger King, etc will be forced to offer healthier options to its consumers. It is true that you cannot force people to eat the right kinds of food, but do you know what? If you educate people on what WILL HAPPEN TO THEM and THEIR BODIES if they don't start eating healthier,it will just keep happening over and over again!

How many more children and adults will have to get diabetes, high blood pressure,or become super obese and yes this is a real medical term, that somebody will WAKE UP and realize that this is a very serious issue facing millions and millions of children and adults! I really feel that if the government would offer say,"cash rewards,"to people who took the initiative to lose weight, exercise, and eat healthier foods, than people would be lining up! If you offer people an incentive, they will want to lose weight and lead healthier lifestyles.

I really feel that if the government provided FREE fruits, vegetables, and whole grains along with healthy protein items to encourage people to want to live healthier lifestyles, they would do it! In the poorer areas of the United States, offer FREE classes to teach people HOW to read food labels, how to prepare fresh fruits and vegetables into tempting meals that are healthy for them, maybe more people would be inclined to want to lose weight!

I also say for the people WHO ARE SERIOUS about leading a healthier lifestyle, offer them FREE memberships to their local YMCA or YWCA,and local gyms. Another idea is to build SAFE AND SECURE parks or recreation areas where people can run or walk around a track, ride their bicycles or take their families to,instead of sitting on the couch and watching tv!

Why should people want to not want to eat fast food when fresh fruits and vegetables cost alot of money and boxed macaroni and cheese or chicken pot pies are cheaper, which do you think a struggling family is going to buy? People are not going to change their eating habits unless there is some sort of help or initative from the government to help these people lose weight, cut down on the diabetes epidemic, and we need to get Physical Education back into our schools EVERYDAY,not just one day a week for a 1/2 hour! That isn't anywhere near the amount of time that a child needs to exercise every day,the recommended amount of exercise time every day is at least one hour a day of walking, riding a bike,or just running around!

McDonald's has a lot of exposure already, be it just on TV for their food as well as the toys you can buy (like the Play-Doh McDonald's set.)

Honestly, I'd love to see an Arby's home line. That roast beef is to die for. Maybe a Sonic line as well. Basically, any chain that isn't on every single street corner wherever you turn, that hasn't overwhelmed the market and has a few very good specialties. Boston Market did great with this (You can buy entrees or sides separately at the grocery) and there is a niche.
