It isn't really a food, but the only thing I've never been able to give up is Coca-Cola. If you want a strict food answer, I'd have to say cheese. It's a sauce, a snack, a sandwich, an omelet filling, and essential to tacos, nachos, enchiladas, lasagna, burgers, etc.

I love homemade spaghetti with meat balls because it fills you up and I also like to eat salad and garlic bread with my spaghetti and meatballs too,because it really compliments the whole meal! ;-)
