Why is the Expiry date on Organic milk much longer then non-organic milk available on grocery shelves?!

Question: It's because it's ULTRA pasteurized.
Ultra-pasteurization is the process of heating the milk at an even higher temperature for a shorter period of time than that used for pasteurization. Pasteurization allows the milk to have an extended shelf life without the use of preservatives.

So the expiration date is MUCH longer. I purchase both types of milk and organic truly does have a much longer shelf life.

because orgenic milk is treated and non organic milk have high chances in getting bad

experation date is the same and is set by law. what you may be seeing is a difference in freshness. the organic milk may be comeing from a dairy closer to you so less days lost to transport time.
