Can I freeze this?!
Answers: I made a chicken soup 3 days ago, and there is still a ton left. Can I freeze it, or is it past that point?
You can freeze it - any noodles or rice in it might have an odd texture when you thaw, as they will continue to absorb liquid, but you could strain them out before freezing if you're worried. Safety-wise, the soup is still good.
Yes you can.
Provided that you have stored it in the fridge for the past 3 days, it should be still good. Put it in some air tight containers that hold 1 or 2 servings each, and freeze it for up to 4 months.
I'd say past the point
you could freeze it but just remmenber to not put it in the freezer till it cools down cuz it will spoil otherwise
You can freeze it. My mom freezes noodle stuff when there's some or maybe tons left. I guess it is okay to do that
it depends - if you made it with chicken you had to thaw out, then don't freeze it again. But if you used fresh chicken it should be okay to freeze.
As long as it has been kept refridgerated it is fine to freeze...Don't freeze in very big containers...A quart size will freeze well....When you go to use it from the frozen state, either place the quart container in a pan of very hot water to defrost, or use your microwave defrost...You should use the soup up in a month or two though...I haven't like the results of keeping it much longer...Enjoy!
No. WHY WOULD YOU EVEN THINK OF DOING SOMETHING LIKE THAT?
It would probably taste like POO.
HI THERE; I BELIEVE IS COMMON TO FREEZE FOOD AFTER A FEW DAYS OLD ; I WOULD`NT DO IT MYSELF AFTER A FEW DAY GROWN BACTERIAS COULD CAUSE AN INFECTION BECAUSE OF SALMONELLA I KNOW IS SUCH A WASTE BUT IS BETTER BEING IN A GOOD HEALTH
yes you can freeze it as long as you put it in a freezer safe bowl that will have a good seal. it should last about 5 to 6 months.
Rachel,
You might try blending it first and freezing it in gallon freezer bags (fill them only half full)
You can use this concoction for more soup (just add more fresh or frozen veggies, etc.), in a casserole, as a sauce for rice or pasta, as a "gravy" over mashed potatoes, with scrambled eggs, a little in your dog's food, etc., etc., etc. Possibilities are endless!

ADD:
Once frozen, you cannot refreeze meat after it's thawed
You can freeze it, but I would take out any noodles because they will have a funny feeling to them when you thaw it. I would freeze it is 1 or 2 servings per bag, that way you don't have to thaw out all of it just to have some soup. Also you could seperte out some so that you just have chicken broth and freeze that sepertely so that you can use it for other cooking and the rest of your soup will have more meat and veggies in it.
you can freeze it if it been refrigerated if not throw it out
