Have you tried any wierd types of fruit?!

Question: Ive recently come across Dragon-Fruit also known as pitahaya and think its like a mixture between a melon and a pear kind of taste. Its a pretty cool looking fruit too. It looks like dragonscales on the outside and bright pink. On the inside its a dull white n grey with tiny black seeds.
Do you know of any wierd looking fruits or have tried them?

Starfruit
Passion fruit
Pomegranate

One thing I love about being an Australian is that we get to try all the wierd and wonderful tropical fruits from Asia, my favourite being the Durian. Durians, they are well known for their particularly pungent smell. Apparently they are banned in certain hotels in Asia for this reason. Once you get over the smell though they don't taste half bad...check out this link

Passion Fruit - They have a really cool flower but the meat of the fruit is slimy. Not very appetizing
Paw Paw - Are similar to bananas. the large seeds are poisons to humans. Again not very good. There texture is like bruised bananas. I think they would make a good pie if you could find enough.
Prickly pair - (yellow rose of Texas) The seeds will plug you up bad. It is a fruit that Mexicans eat. I cant remember the name its called.
