Is it ok to eat canned ham cold or should it be cooked first?!

Canned ham is sold fully cooked, but I think it tastes much better if you bake it. Put in a 325 degree oven for about 15 minutes per pound of ham; you can also pour a simple glaze over it first to further improve the flavor.
