what color are they?
...you know.
Well It could be candied tea stirrers. Where they are like little round candies on a stick.
Polka Dots or Candy Buttons
They come on a ribbon of paper with lots of colors. When you pick them off the paper, some sticks to the candy.
Sound like a candy called Dots. Small, different colored
sugar dots on a long strip of white paper.
We always called them what they were. Colored non- flavored sugar dots. They used to cost 1 penny for about 200 of them to the strip. When you ate them you just popped 'em off with your teeth, and inherently got your fiber from the paper that still clung to them. I think the correct name for them in the 50's was; Dots.........
If it's a long red strip with littel colorful tiny candies all over it.....It might be nerds rope. If it's a clear/white strip with colorful candies on it it's dots.
candy dots. Loved them as a kid.
