Hmmm, Clyde. Did you actually put said bag in a pot of boiling water? Or are you messin' with us?

I definitely wouldn't EAT the rice with the melted plastic in it

did you fill a pot with water then put the bag in?

That's hilarious, dude. I don't have the answer except that maybe your bag was in too small of a pot? (therefore being melted by the pot, not the water?) Didn't think that could happen. LOL
There is some rice I tried once that was fine. It was microwave kind...alreadt cooked cause it only took about two minutes. maybe you could try that next?!

Water may be the missing ingredient. Or perhaps a pan.

Sounds like a good night for takeout if you ask me.

Don't use the plastic bag anymore.

well the easiest thing to do
is boil some water
put a little salt in,
cooking oil
then when the water boils you out the rice in the water and cook them for about 10 minutes or until they get bigger or until most of the water is gone. (you need about 2 cups of water)
you can take them out of the bag and cook them separate, thats what i do,
and then when they're cooked put some butter on them.

Did you use water? Was it in an outer type bag that should have been removed before putting the boil in bag in the water? The best way to cook rice , if you enjoy rice a lot, is an inexpensive rice cooker. Just use 1 cup rice with 2 cups water, turn it on and it stops cooking when the rice is done. Excellent.

Don't eat it and Next Time Read the Instructions First

Throw it out.

Next time buy real rice, it only takes 15 to 20 minutes to cook . Its healthier for you than pre-processed rice. You could cook it when you have time and put it in the fridge, then just warm it in the microwave.

next time, if you are sure you will eat rice consecutively, buy the big homai brand or something.i always do 'cuz i eat it every single day. and put some rice in the pot - WITHOUT THE PLASTIC BAG!!!! and put some water and carrots and onions and meat if you eat it and other stuff.

you don't put the bag in the pot T.T
