looks like macadamia and white chocolate

Peanut Butter cookies with both white chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.

I've had these before and they were deeeee-lish!

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon water
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 package of peanut butter chips
1/2 package of white chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
Beat or whip the egg. Cream together the shortening, peanut butter, vanilla extract, water and sugars. Mix with mixer until light and fluffy.

Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; gradually stir into the peanut butter mixture. Cover and refrigerate dough for at least one hour.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Make small balls of dough. (if you want the criss cross patter, flatten the balls with a fork).

Bake for 8-10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until just set.

Remove from baking sheets to cool on wire racks.

I like to bake them less than the recomended time, as they continue to "bake" on the wire racks until they are cool and ready to be moved to trays, plates, etc.

Also, if you are not going to eat them right away. FREEZE them. They stay better, softer, longer.

Happy Cooking!

:)
