Brie cheese is best at room temp. Spread over some crispy crackers and you can serve with some fruit too and have a nice glass of wine. Sounds good!

its cheese, you don't need to cook it. you can use it in cooking if you like. you just smear some on some crackers or bread. some people eat the outside part, others don't.

MAPLE SYRUP PEARS ON TOAST WITH MELTED
BRIE

bread crumps
pear sections
brie cheese
smoked maple syrup

Use your favorite crusty bread to make rounds or toast points (triangles). On each piece of toast place a 1/3 inch slice of ripe pear and top it with a piece of Brie cheese. Bake in a 350 degree oven until the Brie melts. Remove from oven and spoon or brush all with Pops' Original Smoked Maple Syrup. Serve as an hors d'oeuvre or as a unique dessert.

You eat it as is, as it's a cheese. Have it on your water crackers, ritz or what ever, it's even nice on a toasted sandwich as it melts nicely!

I like to eat it sliced (rine included) with sliced sourdough bauggette and sliced green apples...mmmmm or you can take pilsbury crescent roll dough (2 cans) roll one can out but don't seperate and spread blackberry jam on it layer brie ontop of it put the other dough on top pinch it closed and bake it ....*drool*..mmmmmm

Here's my favorite appetizer. It is elegant and very easy to make!

Baked Brie in Phyllo Cups

1 pound Brie
1 small jar apricot jam
1 pkg. frozen phyllo cups
slivered almonds, toasted

Soften Brie to room temperature. Place a drop of Brie in each phyllo cup (no need to remove the white coating). Spoon about ? teaspoon of jam into each cup. Put a few slivered almonds on top of jam. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 minutes (or until Brie melts).

Yum!!

If it's a real French brie, on crackers with a nice glass of wine (white or red).
