Lamb Sandwiches?!

Question: How come you never see Lamb sandwiches for sale? All the other meats are available, but I've never seen Lamb or Mutton sandwiches in a shop. Anybody know why?

Lamb sandwiches are the best. I don't think many people like them, as sometimes the meat can be abit tough once it has gone cold, but i love them.

If you live in Ireland its because its too damn expensive. you would think that with all the sheep we have roaming the land we would have cheap lamb but we don't, we export it all.

That's a really good point. I love them too, especially with a bit of mint jelly. Used to have them in my school lunchbox after the Sunday roast! Also - you never really see pork sandwiches either.

I have had minted lamb sandwiches. They were from those shops which make sandwiches while you wait rather than pre-made ones. I have no idea why you can't get them in supermarkets.

We can buy sliced lamb in the Deli bar at our markets.

I don't know, I prefer lamb too.

Ergh! Probably 'cause cold lamb is minging!
