I'd say chips are just as bad if not worse..
a lot of fat and shat..dark chocolate with high-cocoa content actually does something good for you :)
plus..at least for me, i eat chocolate in moderation compared to sitting in front of the t.v eating an entire bag of chips

has an ordered list of junk food

It would depend on the chocolate. Dark chocolate is actually quite good for you but i would say in general the chips are worse.

I don't really know the "order" but I mean junk food is all horrible and you should eat it in moderation. To answer your question I think:

1.Deep fried (mcdees, burger king)

2.Soda

3.Candy (sugar and stuff)

Etc..... 1 is worst 3 least worst

Don't know the order of best to worst, but can tell you that small amounts of chocolate aren't bad for you. Chips, on the other hand, are horrible for the body. They're high in saturated fats and offer the body no real nutritional value. Stay away from deep fried foods, fast food restaurants, junk foods, candy, and sodas (including diet sodas) if you're worried about health or gaining weight. Oh, and if you're going to eat healthy that doesn't mean to use a ton of dressing on a salad. Dressings are typically high in fat too.

Chocolate is better for you than chips! Chocolate at least has a little bit of iron and antioxidants and the fat in it is mostly milkfat. Chips are just salt and oil.

Most people aren't going to eat as many pieces of chocolate as chips. However there are people like myself who don't care for chocolate or sweets for that matter and salty crunchy snacks are our downfall. Here's what I started doing 10years ago. Never eat at a fast food restaurant, even the stuff they say is healthy. Just don't go in. Don't drink soda, it has no redeeming value and is probably responsible for Americans being overweight. Abstain from salty crunchy snacks. Substitute celery and peppers, carrots if you like something sweet. If you have to have something, make popcorn in the microwave, but don't use microwave popcorn. Anchor Hocking has a popcorn bowl that you put in the microwave with regular popcorn and uses no fats or oils at all. You can season the cooked popcorn as you wish but even if you use real butter, you are cutting the damage by half. Popcorn at least isn't refined and good for your digestion.
