Is there any harm in eating fruit with meals?!

Question: Well, I have heard that eating fruit after a heavy meal just lets the fruit ferment, because its digestion is slowed down by the other food in the intestine. I'm not sure if it is true or false.

There is one advantage and that is the vitamin C in the fruit will increase iron absorption from the meal.

There is no harm.
I'm not sure of the basis of your question, but, you may have heard the theory that certain foods/food groups should not be eaten in combination so that your body processes food properly. This was the basis of the fad diet of Harvey and Marilyn Diamond in one of their books "Fit For Life".
This was strictly their theory, nothing proven!

No, I eat a small side of fruit with a half a sandwich at lunch. It makes a great side, especially some cut cantalope or berries.

no that is the healthiest thing to do

No, in fact it probably helps in digestion. Fruit salads are good to make a meal. I like pears or pineapple with cottage cheese. Applesauce as well. In fact when I have a plate lunch I usually order applesauce as a side.

None at all. Pineapple for example is wonderful with ham
